Myrobalan (Tib. Arura) is a tree-fruit plant native to the Himalayan region. Among its species, Arura produces large, fist-sized fruits and is traditionally depicted in the hands of Medicine Buddha, symbolizing healing and longevity. Alongside Barura and Kyurura, these three fruits—known as the “Three Fruits”—are essential ingredients in Tibetan medicine, particularly valued for their role in supporting digestion and overall well-being.
